- Profit Reserves A portion of profits, typically 20% of quarterly EBITDA, is placed into a reserve account. This serves as a business emergency fund, providing a cushion when challenges come up.
- Decision Controls Major financial moves like large purchases, taking on new debt, or giving up equity require approval. This keeps the company focused and prevents decisions that can cause long-term damage.

- Performance-Aligned Compensation Operator compensation is tied to performance but is designed to avoid draining the company’s cash during the early stages of growth.
